About Me

My Story

My love for baking started at a young age as I tried baking cakes and pastries in my mom’s kitchen.
With the very limited equipment we had back then and videos I could find, I was trying to do the best I could, so I had to learn everything through trial and error. Although I studied at University, worked as a dance teacher and later in various other jobs, my passion for pastry never faded.

2013

My business journey began quite unexpectedly when my five-year-old nephew came up to me and insisted that I make him cupcakes with those pretty designs that him saw once in a store.
So I tried to find some tutorials online and i instantly fell in love with the beautiful art of cake decorating.
I decided to learn this new form of art and took a few decorating courses in 2013. After a few exciting months of learning, I decided to consider turning  my passion into my profession.
I updated my skills by attending private Cake designer courses in England and Greece and after that I took several online cake decorating courses to improve my skills as a cake artist. I started making cakes for my family and friends and constantly practiced different techniques.

Now

Finally, in the winter of 2021, the decision was also official for Joanna’s Flavors. From the beginning I tried to serve my customers with love and care. I have never underestimated orders and always try my best to make my customers’ dream cake to life.
When it comes to my cake designs, attention to details and colour schemes are of the utmost importance. In our workshop, every day we make small quantities of our sweets so that they are always fresh, with our ingredients being of first quality, which I pay great attention to!
